Jaclyn Knoth
About Me:
I live in Crystal Lake with my husband, Aaron and our kids Max (10) and Kendall (3.5). We have a mini goldendoodle named Rocky. We’ve been in Crystal Lake for over 10 years, and is where I grew up playing volleyball.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY:
My philosophy is rooted around respect. Respect through teamwork, a family culture, and being coachable. I believe in developing athletes who not only play the game well but play it the right way—humbly, with discipline, and with heart. Effort and attitude matter more than perfection, and I strive to help each player understand their role, trust their teammates, and find confidence in doing the little things that make a big difference.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
I’ve been playing volleyball since 7th grade and went on to compete at the collegiate level for 4 years as a Division II Libero. My time as a player taught me the value of resilience, communication, and leadership—skills that have shaped both my coaching and my perspective on the game.
COACHING HISTORY:
I’ve had the privilege of coaching with Mission Volleyball since its founding, a program with a focus on fundamentals, team unity, and consistent growth. Before Mission, I coached with Club Fusion, where I gained experience working with athletes at various levels. In addition to coaching, I’ve also reffed middle school and adult recreation leagues.
Coaching Specialty:
Defense & passing. I have extremely high expectations for perfecting basic skills. Once a Libero, always a Libero
